Greg’s obsession with burgers started young. Every trip to visit family in the U.S. came with a side of diner culture—big flavors, neon lights, and the feeling that food could be anything but boring. The energy stuck. The idea stuck. But for a while, the path forward didn’t.

 

Like a lot of people, Greg spent years trying to figure out what felt right. He tried different things, hit a few dead ends, and lived through the uncertainty that comes with chasing something real. But one thing never changed: that dream of creating something bold, something his own.​

In 2017, he made the leap—and Flux was born in Hierheck. A place where food is creative, where people come first, and where the quality of what’s on your plate matters. At Flux, you’re in control: build your go-to comfort burger, or go off the rails and try something completely new. No rules, just flavor.

Then came challenges. Covid. A kitchen fire. Food-truck woes. Like most small businesses, we took a hit. But we didn’t just survive—we adapted. We kept pushing, kept showing up, and kept doing what we do best: serving the fresh, flavorful food that people want. That resilience paid off, and in 2024, we opened our second location in Ettelbruck, growing not just in size, but in community, creativity, and of course, burgers served.

 

Now, we’re setting our sights further south—toward a third location, closer to the capital. But no matter where we land, our mission stays the same: keep evolving, keep creating, and keep serving up food that’s bold, personal, and full of heart.

At Flux, creativity isn’t just welcome—it’s the main ingredient. We believe burgers should be as bold, unique, and personal as the people eating them. That’s why we put you in the driver’s seat: build your burger your way, from the bun, to the sauce, to the sides. No rules. Just flavor.


But it doesn’t stop there. Every month, we feature five limited special burgers—each one crafted by a different Flux team member. It’s more than just a special—it’s a spotlight. When their burger sells, they earn a bonus. Because here, we believe great ideas (and great taste) should be rewarded.

At Flux, our mission is to create a burger experience that’s bold, personal, and full of energy. We’re here to empower your creativity—on the grill, on the plate, and in the community. From the people who build our burgers to the people who eat them, we want everyone to feel like they’re part of something bigger.

We believe great food starts with great ingredients. That’s why we use only local, grass-fed Angus beef and fresh, high-quality produce—sourced close to home and cooked with care. We keep our prices fair because we think exceptional food doesn’t deserve special access.

Flux is always evolving—just like the people behind it. And as we grow, one thing stays the same: our commitment to flavor, community, and the people who make it all happen.
